Reaching Nepal’s Unreached
Sejwal’s Mission in Nepal’s Hill Country
Sejwal moved back to his village driven by a desire to reach the underprivileged and lower caste.
K*** is his home, but for the past five years, Sejwal has been living and ministering in Surkhet. Raised in a Hindu familiy, his life was forever changed when he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
This dear friend of Joshua’s completed a discipleship training school with YWAM in India, but felt a strong calling to pursue theological education and evangelism back in Nepal. Upon returning back, he settled in a village of 160,000 people and was the only Christian. Despite the challenges, Sejwal’s unwavering faith led to over 400 people accepting Jesus as their Savior, including most of his family.
In 2018, Sejwal moved to S***, driven by a desire to reach the underprivileged and lower caste members from his village who had come there seeking education and employment. He started a church, which now meets weekly with about 35 attendees. Despite his demanding schedule—spanning evangelism, church planting (he has planted seven churches since 2000), and prayer ministry—Sejwal remains humble, giving all the glory to God.
His journey is a powerful testament to God's transformative power, from his conversion in 2000 to his impactful ministry in Nepal, where countless lives have been touched and saved through his faith.
